Allergy friendly
Silicone is the most hypoallergenic material one can use to make Pacifiers. The same silicone is used in the pharmaceutical and food industries. If your child is at risk of developing allergies, we recommend using silicone Pacifiers as it is a more pure material. However, we don't have knowledge of children who have developed allergies to latex after using latex Pacifiers.
Hygienic material
A clear advantage of using silicone Pacifiers is the high heat tolerance of the material. Therefore, in contrast to latex Pacifiers, silicone Pacifiers do not get damaged when they are exposed to heat when cleaned in hot water and sterilised. Silicone Pacifiers are therefore extremely suitable for infants who do not yet have a fully developed immune system.
Neutral taste and smell
Silicone is a tasteless and odorless product, which is why it is suitable for children who do not like latex due to the smell and taste.
Doesn't lose its shape
Silicone retains the same shape throughout the life of the teat, whereas a latex teat changes shape over time.
