Natural rubber pacifiers
Natural Rubber Pacifiers — made of latex from the rubber tree
Natural rubber — nature can vary
Since latex is a natural product without the addition of dyes, please be aware that the teats may vary in colour and texture. Therefore, the teat will often not be uniformly coloured and combined with the teats being a valve pacifier, the inside may appear disjointed or broken, which is quite natural and not a mistake.
Due to the natural material, the pacifiers can also vary from one to another, where some may be slightly lighter in colour, or slightly sticky to the touch.
Natural rubber — elastic function
Latex is more elastic than silicone, and resembles the mother's breast more than silicone. Therefore, children more easily accept a latex pacifier over a silicone pacifier. The elastic quality also makes the teat more bite resistant and therefore more resistant to pointed baby teeth. Natural rubber is therefore a suitable material for children who bite the pacifier.
Natural rubber — decomposes and ages
Latex is a natural product that ages and decomposes over time through the effects of light and heat. Therefore, it is important that you store natural rubber pacifiers in a dark, dry place at room temperature. You should also be aware that natural rubber changes with use and that children with a strong suction can extend the teat to a much larger teat than it originally was.
We recommend that you always use several pacifiers at a time and continuously replace latex pacifiers after a maximum of 6 weeks of use. This way you can easily detect when a pacifier needs replacement.
