Welcome your little nugget into the world with a memorable christening or naming party for friends and family
For many parents, it can seem overwhelming to plan a big party with a small baby on your arm, and we can understand that. But remember, it's not just about the party – it's about creating good memories with your loved ones ❤
Inspiration for table setting
Planning the table setting requires you to decide on the choice of theme, tablecloths, napkins, candles, place cards etc. The popular choice is a pink and light blue theme, depending on whether the party is for a girl or a boy. If you would like to make creative place cards, you can e.g. have your guests' names engraved on some pink or light blue pacifiers. We promise that they will be a hit - and as a small memory, the guests can take their pacifier home with them.

Inspiration for entertainment
When you have a party where both children and adults are invited, it can be a good idea to plan some fun children's activities. You can e.g. make sure there is a table for the children, which is covered with a heavy paper tablecloth, which the children can decorate with crayons and colored pencils. Place any two layers of paper so they can cut their drawings out of the top layer.
If the weather is good and you hold the party with access to an outdoor area where the children can play, you can come up with something different - e.g. street chalk, balls and sensory toys such as nesting boxes and stacking cups.
Inspiration for gift wishes
Perhaps you lack inspiration for what you should want from personal and useful gifts. We have made a small wish list which can hopefully inspire you:
Teething rings
Our teethers off Mushie is made of 100% food-grade silicone and is a perfect gift when the first tooth starts to peek through and the gums itch.

Toys
Stacking cups are good for fine motor skills because they have to be stacked. In addition, the cups can also be played with individually; they are especially fun to play with in the bath or in the sandbox because they have patterns on the bottom that cause water and sand to seep through.
Children's services
Before long, the little one will be eating real food. A fine silicone plate with divided compartments ensures that your child can see what is being served. With this gift, your child will get off to a good start on his culinary adventure.
