Data protection is a matter of trust – and your trust is important to us. It is extremely important that you as a customer feel safe when shopping at Littledeluxe. This policy explains how we process personal data when you place an order, visit Littledeluxe.dk and use functions on the website.

Data controller

Littledeluxe (JEAN ApS), CVR no. 33760175, is the data controller for the processing on all Littledeluxe websites, including Littledeluxe.dk.

1. Collection and storage of personal data

We only collect relevant, non-sensitive personal data in connection with:

• Orders and purchases at Littledeluxe.dk
• Registration for our newsletter
• Use of the website, including cookies and marketing

Purchase information: name, address, e-mail, telephone number, chosen delivery location and, if applicable, alternative delivery address.

Newsletter: name and e-mail.

Information is stored securely in accordance with applicable legislation and technical standards. Shopify stands for operation, security, hosting and data protection according to GDPR and Shopify Data Processing Addendum (DPA). Shopify is a data processor; Littledeluxe is the data controller.

2. Legal basis for processing

• Legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)) – e.g. fraud prevention and improvement of the user experience

3. Purpose of collection

• Process and deliver orders
• Sending order confirmations, invoices and delivery information
• Handle complaints and returns
• Customer service communication
• Newsletters and marketing (only with consent)
• Improve the user experience on the website

We may register and use your IP address for fraud prevention (Art. 6(1)(f)).

4. Automated emails and profiling

• Abandoned cart reminders
• Products you have shown interest in
• Relevant offers and inspiration

You can always unsubscribe via the unsubscribe link in emails or by contacting us.

5. Disclosure of personal data

We only share information when it is necessary to provide services or comply with the law.

• Shopify – hosting, operation, payment and security
• DAO – delivery of goods
• Mailchimp - sending out newsletters
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google – advertising and analysis
• Accounting/bookkeeping system – handling of invoices
• Development and support partners – technical maintenance

Data processing agreements (GDPR art. 28) have been entered into with relevant parties.

6. Transfer of data outside the EU/EEA

We use e.g. Shopify (CA/US), Meta (US), Google (US/EU) and Mailchimp (US/EU). Transfers are made on the basis of The EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other necessary guarantees.

In certain features, Shopify may process data across Shopify stores (“Enhanced Services”) to protect, improve and optimize the Services.

7. Retention period and deletion

• Purchase information: 5 years (Accounting Act)
• Customer service: deleted at the end of the case, unless the law requires storage
• Newsletter/marketing: is deleted upon de-registration or withdrawal of consent
• Cookies: cf. purpose and expiry in the cookie banner

After expiration, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

9. Cookies

We use cookies to improve the experience, analyze traffic and target marketing. Cookie consent is handled via Cookie bot in accordance with the Danish Cookie Decree.

You can change your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

10. Security

We protect your information with appropriate technical and organizational measures. Shopify is PCI DSS-certified and complies with GDPR. Payment is via Shopify Checkout and authorized payment providers. We do not store your card data.

12. Shopify Services and Enhanced Services

Our webshop is hosted at Shopify, which processes personal data on our behalf in accordance with Shopify's Data Processing Addendum (DPA). In certain features (“Enhanced Services” or “Shopify Network Intelligence”), Shopify may use information from interactions across Shopify stores to protect, improve, and optimize the Services (e.g., recommendations, analytics, and advertising).

In this connection, Shopify may, to a limited extent, be the joint data controller for specific processes. Read more in Shopify's policies:
